Laverton and Leonora communities in WA are ‘really hurting’

Liberal MP Melissa Price says the Laverton and Leonora communities in Western Australia “are really hurting” and are in need of the Prime Minister’s attention.

“It’s not as big as Alice Springs – perhaps it’s not politically as important as Alice Springs, but I tell you what: those people deserved him to go there,” she told Sky News Australia.

It comes as Anthony Albanese meets with community leaders in Port Hedland to discuss various topics.

“We’ve got issues across the whole of WA,” Ms Price said.
