Report suggests net-zero schemes could threaten NSW jobs

New analysis from the Institute of Public Affairs suggests NSW could lose up to 138,000 jobs from Liberal and Labor net-zero schemes in the coming years.

The new research shows the agriculture sector will be one of the hardest hit.

NSW Farmers Associations’ Chris Stillard says the data does not surprise him.

“What we are extremely worried about is if lazy policies are pushed on us to change to some sort of alternative green fuel then obviously production will be greatly reduced,” he told Sky News Australia.
